Handmade Beach Wallet – Dunas

Our first limited edition, handcrafted Beach Wallet is your perfect companion for a day at the beach. It has 2 card slots that can hold 2, or if necessary 4 cards, and an emergency cash pocket. We love to use it for the absolute necessities: a credit card, driver's licence and emergency cash.

The wallets are handmade by founder and art director Nik himself on his family's 30 year old restored sewing machine. Please note: as a result, each wallet is unique, handmade and not factory perfect. The pattern will look different on each wallet, no two are alike. The one you see here is an example. These characteristics surely make each wallet a one of a kind.

Sustainability & Transparency

This is no doubt a pilot project. It is always our own ambition to produce as sustainably as possible. Please decide for yourself if our handcrafted series is up to your own standards. Our approach is to source leftover stock for outer material. These are small leftover pieces that retailers or factories no longer use for larger production runs, but that we can still turn into beautiful accessories and can source at a discount. This also inevitably means that some outer fabrics and patterns will not come back. Once these limited pieces are gone, they are gone! For the inner material we use lined cork as a vegan alternative to leather. It has to be lined so we it can be used for sewing. See below for more specific material specifications.

Materials

We love the beach wallets combination of the leather-like natural cork on the inside and a durable leftover fabric on the outside. Cork can be brittle. Having used a lot of cork accessories over the years, we wanted to keep the charm of the material on the inside but combine it with a durable fabric on the outside, ideally an eye-catching one like the special patterned canvas of our first limited edition, which reminds us of sand dunes.
